Dewsnaps Farm was built at the beginning of the 18th century, as a typical Derbyshire longhouse, on a lane which was then the main pack horse route between Chapel-en-le-Frith and Hayfield.
The barn and it's adjoining shippon have been converted into two comfortable and spacious holiday cottages.
Dewsnaps Spring is one bedroom, single storey and sleeps two.
Dewsnaps Frost has two bedrooms, sleeping four and an additional two in put-up beds.
In keeping with our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible, the cottages are super-insulated, heating is provided by a wood pellet boiler. Solar thermal provides hot water, and solar PV contributes to the electrical usage. We provide ecologically approved cleaning materials.
We also would like to support visitors choosing to use public transport as much as possible, so train and bus timetables are provided. We may also be able to collect luggage from the local train stations on your arrival.
